In the  Governing Council meeting on 14 th September 2019, appointments of office bearers was done and the new Governing Council will consist of following members for next three years from 2019 to 2022.

Ashok Kelkar as President of Practicing Valuers Association India for the period 2019-2022. Vice Presidents are Sunil Bhor, Nasik, Milind Joshi , Pune, Sujit Joglekar, Hon secretary, Mahesh Mistry, Hon Treasurer, both from Mumbai. Jt. secretary, Digant Shah, Ahmedabad, Jt. Treasurer, Mohanakrishnan, Coimbatore.

In the Governing Council meetings held on 12 th October and 9 th November, the President was out of India as planned much before he took over as president. Although the President was not here, the meetings were conducted by the Vice President / IPP in my absence and many decisions were taken. These will be enumerated below with other programmes that were in progress in the two months.

14 new members were added in the month of October and members in the month of November   2019.

New sub committees have been formed for Premises Committee consisting of Sujit Joglekar, Kunal Vikamsey, Mahesh Mistry and Avinash Pendse, One day programme Committee consisting of Sunil Bhor, Digant Shah and Mohankrishna, and  International Affairs consisting of Mohankrishna and Avinash Pendse.

New CEP’s will be held on 14 th and 15 th December at Delhi and on 28 th and 29 th at Coimbatore.  PVAI VPO has entered into MOU with Institute of Government Approved Valuers, New Delhi. This was shared in the meeting. 

12 th Batch of 50 hours IBBI training programme will be arranged by PVAI Coimbatore from 20 to 22 and 27 to 29 th December 2019  for Land & Buildings as well as for P & M.

The news has appeared that No distance education will be allowed in the Real Estate.

Our Promoter member Mohan Kulkarni  is attending UNFCCC  Conference at Madrid, Spain and is going to be one of the speakers there.

Foundation Day of PVAI will be celebrated on 8 th February 2020 at Pune. More details will be given in the next Newsletter

Shri Avinash Pendse now our IPP has taken over as M.D. of Valuers Professional Organisation and will be representing our VPO in IBBI for all the meetings held at Delhi. Any details about VPO please contact him on 93731 07027.

We note about  Indemnity Bond required by the Banks. We are  trying to contact them at Mumbai through our promoter members . However  at each centre efforts be made to contact them locally to raise this issue.
